Antique Tractor Show

The Graham Jamboree will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Senior Citizens Center, 825 Fairview St. Cost is $3 with a covered side dish. Meal will be served at 6 p.m. Award certificates will be given for best dancer, entrée/casserole, salad/side dish and dessert.
Faith Lutheran Church will have a garage sale from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 27, in the church, 1618 Highway 380 Bypass.
There will be miscellaneous household items, furniture and more for sale. Proceeds benefit the church.

Sunday in the Park
Gather with friends and neighbors for Newcastle's Sunday in the Park from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at Newcastle City Park. The event will feature music from the Christian Hope Fellowship Band along with free hotdogs and lemonade sponsored by Hole in the Wall Cafe and Jerry's Meat Market. Students of Helen Hawkins will perform in a spring recital at 2 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church. Students performing solos and ensembles in voice and piano include Chandler Trice, Shae Mercer, Tommy Mercer, Christopher Carver, Spencer McHenry, Justin McHenry, Michael McHenry, Joseph Roberts and Allie Hawkins. Hospital Town Hall
A town hall meeting to discuss the upcoming election for a hospital district will begin at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 29, at the Graham Senior Citizens Center, 825 Fairview St.
First Presbyterian Church hosts C.E.R.T. on Mondays for juniors and seniors during the school year. The meals are provided in the youth house of the church.
The 27th Annual Graham High School Scholarship Presentation will begin at 7 p.m. Monday, April 29, at the GHS Auditorium. The event will feature many local benefactors, community members, friends, family, alumni and clubs. Approximately $70,000 of local scholarship money will be presented to many members of the GHS graduating class of 2013. The public is invited to attend as seniors are honored for their hard work by receiving scholarships from nearly 75 scholarship groups. Call for information. Lions Club Carnival
The annual Lions Club Carnival will be Tuesday through Saturday, April 30 through May 4, on the Downtown Square. The annual carnival will feature rides, games and food.
Preschool Story Time
The Library of Graham will have preschool story time at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Story time includes stories and crafts. Preschool children are welcome.
Lunch Bunch is held every Tuesday of the school year for juniors and seniors at First United Methodist Church in the youth area upstairs. The weekly menu rotates around barbecue sandwiches, chicken spaghetti, tacos, baked potatoes and pizza. A short devotional will be given.
