At today's regular court, Young County Commissioners voted to proceed with the courthouse window restoration. Larry Settle of Basic IDIQ, the county's contractor for the job, said the work should begin in a week and will conclue within 120 days. The job was estimated to cost $264,000.
Also, commissioners took part in the first of a number of budget workshops. They discussed the budgets submitted by Precinct 1 and 3 Constables and Justices of the Peace.
