Two rock hauling trucks traveling in opposite direction on Highway 16 South collided at around 3 p.m. this afternoon at the southern Salem Loop intersection.
The driver of the southbound truck was conscious and mobile with injuries to his arm and some bruising on his abdomen when transported by ambulance to Graham Regional Medical Center. The driver of the other truck was examined at the scene and refused transport.
