The Graham Drive-In found out today that it was one of five national winners of a contest sponsored by Honda. The theater beat out 45 other drive-ins to win a digital projector in a conversion package worth roughly $80,000. The win was huge for the local drive-in, which did not have funding on its own to make the switch from 35 mm film. Other drive-in theaters in Texas still hoping to win a digital conversion package include The Brazos, in Granbury, and Sky-Vue Drive-In, in Lamesa. The last two winners will be announced Saturday and Sunday.
