The Graham Steers weren’t perfect in their 32-0 win over Burkburnett on senior night, but they did enough to get the shutout victory.

Despite having a trouble stopping the run, the defense forced three turnovers on their way to a shutout.

The offense looked perfect on the first drive of the game, but after that they didn’t do much until the second quarter.

Things started moving better in the second half for the offense and the Steers looked more confident.

Hagen Hughes and Weston Womack each had interceptions while Spur Hearne had a massive sack and a fumble recovery.

Mikey Freeze was named player of the game for his hard-hitting performance and Talor Reddell was awarded the sub of the game for getting to the ball one way or another, all night long.

The Steers capped off only the second perfect season in Graham football history with a perfect 10-0 record and a district championship.

Now, all that is left is for the Steers to have an amazing playoff run.

The Steers will play Castleberry in the opening round of the playoffs at Mineral Wells Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m.
