The Lady Blues found a rotation a week into the season that has pushed opponents to the very end. The Lady Blues have also made significant improvements in their passing game.
Graham had its best passing game against Sweetwater on Tuesday, getting 71 percent of their passes to target on defense and 74 percent out of serve-receive, compared to 25 percent and 48 percent in the season opener against Peaster.
But the Lady Blues still lost a double-header Tuesday night to Breckenridge (25-27, 23-25, 17-25) and Sweetwater (16-25, 17-25, 21-25).
The Lady Blues showed flashes of resiliency and mental toughness, scoring 10 straight points against Breckenridge to tie a set at 22.
But the girls ran into the same problem they have faced all season.
They just couldn't finish.
