Request for Bids

The City of Graham is requesting proposals and bids for the following items of work: Construct booster pump station facility to service Young County Arena, Barclay Street in Graham, Texas.

Scope of Work

Prepare 20’X20’ site for the construction of pump station facility. Construct 11.5’ x 11.5’ concrete slab, slab is to be reinforced and 6” thick with a reinforced 1’ x 1’ perimeter footer to support 10’ x 10’ structure. Plumbing and electrical will be by City or City representative.

The Contractor will coordinate construction of slab and wall block-outs, penetrations and conduits with City for plumbing and electrical.

Construct metal frame assembly for a 10’ x 10’ x 8’ inside clear building structure including roof support system in accordance with standard building practice and city code.

Install 48” metal door and frame access door.

Place split faced concrete block veneer masonry on exterior of structure that will be constructed.

5ft of the 8ft exterior walls will be split faced, the remaining 3 feet will be conventional concrete block veneer masonry above split faced veneer. The objective of this construction arrangement is to match existing nearby structured at the GISD Softball Field in appearance.

Painting of conventional block will be required.

Furnish and install two close-able wall vents and one ceiling vent, contractor will work with City on sizing the vents.

Construct metal roofing on structure in a blue or red color.

Place block sod on perimeter of building to prohibit erosion around foundation.
