Will the Web browser soon be dead?

 Debate on the eventual death of the World Wide Web is occasionally heard in social conversation — now it’s a viable topic in technical circles.

Adam Richardson, director of product strategy at Frog Design, says research confirms users increasingly get more Web content through something other than a Web browser. He contends smartphone apps and desktop apps that embed Web-based content are quickly replacing browsers.

When the water is low enough, a clump of tree roots, branches and river debris are visible in the lower Red River.

But what you are really seeing is the remains of a western river steamboat called Heroine. The shipwreck was buried for nearly 150 years in the sand bank of the constantly shifting Red River until it was exposed by a flood in 1990. This old house

 Living in an old house has its blessings. I can hang a picture or a ceiling fan … anywhere. There’s enough wood in these walls and ceilings to build 16 new homes. 

The stucco on the outside is thick, helping with insulation. The ceilings are high, and the windows numerous. There’s a certain charm to the old house with its high baseboards and wide moldings.

I want to thank you for the support you are showing in the adoption of HMM-165 through American Supporting Americans.  Surprise

There was an other lovely surprise for the Humane Society last week when Kyle and Hoop McClelland gave a birthday party and asked their guests to help the poor animals at the shelter. 

They gave a mop bucket, cat litter, paper towels, cleaning supplies, pet food and treats, all desperately needed.
