Graham Junior High student council

Graham Junior High School recently selected members to their student council. Pictured are, from left, first row, David Groves, Taylor Stubenbordt, Lexi Fisher, Victoria Ashley and Brooke Gibson. Second row, Trevor Hazlett, Kennedy Hays, Callie George, Macey McCracken, Alex Barrett and Alyssa Ray. Third row, Derek Sides, Macey Spears, Alli Thornbrue, Melissa Brindley, Scout Hays and Chris Riggins. Not pictured are Laura Barrett and Wyatt Cox. The student council promotes activities, helps the school and the community. They sponsor the collection of canned goods for the local food bank. In December, they will collect change for Toys for Tots. They also sponsor student activities including dances and socials. An ongoing activity is the collecting of box tops in which the funds donated by General Mills are used to purchase items for the school. This year’s sponsors are Julie Howell and Sandra Joyce.
