A close call

Capt. B.J. Cook with the Young County Sheriff’s Office investigates a rollover accident on Red Top Road on Saturday afternoon. Robert Garvey of Graham was injured in the accident. DPS Trooper Larry Blanco reported Garvey was driving south on Red Top when he attempted to pass another vehicle. After passing the vehicle, Garvey continued to move left and rolled his Dodge Ram pickup. A witness stopped and cut Garvey out of his seat belt. Garvey was transported to Graham Regional Medical Center with lacerations and was later arrested for driving while intoxicated. (Photo by David Rupkalvis)
