Tommy Edwards, who worked at TXU for four decades, discovered that working as a lineman in dangerous situations didn't bother him.
He came to look upon working inches away from 7,200 volts of electricity to be a routine part of the job. Edwards was among 17 linemen hired in the TXU distribution department and estimates that he hooked up poles and transformers for roughly one-third of Graham's homes and businesses.
He tried retirement, but that didn't suit Tommy Edwards. So, as he nears his 75th birthday, he's still working. Today, he works for J&J Oilfield Electric Company.
