Rebecca Mattis and her husband, Paul, had given up on having a child of their own. They had tried fertility treatments to no avail and after years of trying to conceive decided to become foster parents. This Sunday will mark the first Mother's Day since she has felt her family was complete.
After fostering three children, two whom they adopted and one that was returned to his mom, Rebecca became pregnant with the Mattises youngest daughter. Rebecca's journey as a foster parent and eventually adoptive and biological mother was an emotional rollercoaster full of stress and heartache, but one she said she wouldn't change.
