After more than three hours of discussion over more than a dozen agenda items, the county commissioners decided not to purchase a precinct shared bulldozer, to modify road boring permit requests, refinance jail bonds and try window refurbishing on the courthouse before going all in on that project.

Lengthy discussion on courthouse security resulted in no action. Commissioners were provided with the costs related to providing bullet-resistant glass and at approximately $7,000 an office decided further pricing and discussion of security options were needed. Some offices may go to a locked entry allowing staff to buzz in visitors.
