The Graham Steers took down the Mineral Wells Rams last night 51-7.
Ben Davis threw for 307 yards, five touchdowns and one interception.
The offense also got 252 yards on the ground, led by Dillon Gonzales.
Bryce Reeves’ 55-yard reception set the tone early for the Steers and was also given the Q 94.7 Play of the Game award.
Hunter Hughes won the Player of the Game award.
Hughes had an interception for a touchdown and a fumble recovery.
Hughes also had another pass hit him in the facemask that could have easily become an interception/touchdown.
The Steers now prepare for the Brownwood Lions who lost their first game of the season against Fort Worth All-Saints 70-27.
The game will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at Newton Field in Graham.
