The Graham Steers football team took down the Iowa Park Hawks Friday night 45-3.

Iowa Park's only points came in the first quarter with a 42-yard field goal.

The Steer defense allowed only 70 total yards to the Hawks and forced two interceptions and recovered a fumble.

Mikey Freeze and Hunter Hughes were responsible for the interceptions and Husky Melendez recovered the fumble.

Ben Davis threw for 181 yards and three touchdown in the cold wind and the quarterback also rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown.

Dillon Gonzales rushed for 181 yards and three touchdowns, and Bryce Reeves caught eight passes for 137 yards and three touchdowns.

The Steers will have a bye week before playing the Hirschi Huskies Thursday, Oct. 31 in Wichita Falls.

The Steers move to 2-0 in district and also have a perfect season record.
