Upon impact the Blazer caught fire, skidded into the eastern bank of the highway and started a grass fire that firefighters were able to put out within two minutes, Sheriff's deputies said.

The collision caused a debris field roughly an eighth of a mile long, and it is unknown at this time which driver was responsible for the collision.

As of 5:30 p.m., Young County Sheriff's deputies and DPS officers were still directing traffic and cleaning up the road. The accident is currently under an investigation led by Graham DPS.
