It was a cold and windy event, but the Steers offense scored on their first drive of the game after a Graham stop.
Glen Rose only managed 23 positive yards by halftime and didn't fare much better in the second half.
The Graham defense came in with the mindset to apply pressure and that is exactly what they did.
On Glen Rose pass plays, the Steers sent every linebacker and safety to the line of scrimmage for all-out blitzes that were as effective as they were entertaining.
Mikey Freeze was the Player of the Game with an interception, a receiving touchdown and numerous tackles on special teams and defense.
The Sub of the Game was backup running back Justin Escalon who handled an entire drive along with the Steers offensive line.
Escalon was handed the ball on several consecutive plays and eventually landed himself in the endzone for the Steers fourth rushing touchdown of the game.
Dillon Gonzales finished the game with three rushing touchdowns.
The Steers will play Lubbock Estacado but the time and place are not confirmed.
Graham will be the away team.
