2012 Wildcatter Superstar Competition winner Kelsey Lewis has made her mark in the music industry.
The fort worth native has cut her first album in Nashville. Singing since the age of 6, Lewis has performed on many stages, including the Palladium Ballroom, House of Blues, Poor Dave’s Pub and more.
Lewis has performed in front of many but said that the Wildcatter contest was the very first competition she had ever been a part of.
Lewis said that in the music business, challenges can arise every time an artist takes the stage. She looks back on her performance at the Wildcatter Idol as a warm experience, and said that the audience was encouraging.
The Wildcatter competition gave Lewis an extra edge to performing live.
A year after Lewis’ Wildcatter experience, she released her debut album, “Beautiful View,” a 10-song album with original and co-written material.
