Loretta Wallenhurst, 31, of Graham, and her 1-year-old child sustained minor injuries after getting struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Fourth and Elm streets Nov. 2.

With her baby in her arms, Wallenhurst attempted to cross Elm Street from the Square to reach the west side of Elm (in front of Everett’s Jewelers) by way of pedestrian walk. Wallenhurst made it two-thirds across the street when she was struck by a 2006 gray Dodge pickup truck driven by Ignacio Pedraza, 55 of Graham, who was turning southbound onto Elm Street from Fourth Street by way of green light.

According to the GPD police report, there were two other occupants in Pedraza’s vehicle when the accident occurred, but no injuries were reported from the occupants.

After Wallenhurst was struck, the child fell from her arms and onto the street.
