Sheriff's officers and Graham police officers apprehended a suspect at the Taco Casa restaurant on Hwy 16 in Graham.
Witnesses said that at roughly 1:15 p.m. today, officers converged upon the scene in the Citibank parking lot, and then chased the suspect into the Taco Casa restaurant where he was apprehended and cuffed by officers after he emerged from the bathroom. The suspect was then taken back to the Citibank parking lot before being taken away from the scene by officers.
Taco Casa owner Tony Thomas said that the suspect was bleeding profusely above his eye prior to being apprehended and arrested.
No more information is forthcoming at this time, and The Graham Leader is still waiting on information from the Young County Sheriff's Department, as well as the Graham Police Department.
