Thanks to assistance from a resident and a fast phone call to police, an 18-year-old Olney man was arrested charged with burglary of a habitation Monday, July 28. OPD Chief Barry Roberts says Ezra Bailey was caught red-handed carrying items out of a home in the north part of Olney.
The incident was reported just before 3 p.m. Monday, July 28.
“He was caught breaking into the Cobb residence at 801 N. Ave. G,” Roberts said.
The homeowner’s brother, who lives in a home nearby, reportedly heard dogs barking in the vicinity of the home on N. Ave. G and went to check for a possible problem.
