Immunization clinic planned

The Department of State Health Services holds a Back-to-School Immunization Clinic from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2 at the First United Methodist Church’s McCree Hall in Graham. Vaccines will be available for kindergarten, seventh grade, and college entry, and for infants. Adult immunizations will be available to those who qualify. The clinic is for those on Medicaid, who have no insurance, who are American Indian or Native Alaskan, or are under-insured. CHIPS, Medicare and private insurance are not accepted at this clinic. If your private insurance covers vaccines, you will be referred to your doctor. Parent or guardians must accompany a minor. VFC vaccines are provided for $10 per visit, with a maximum of $20 per household. Adult vaccines are $20 per visit for the adult with no insurance.
