Second body found in Young County

On Sunday, July 3, at around 11:20 a.m. a 33-year-old white female was found dead on Lowe Road off of Texas Highway 251, according to a release by Department of Public Safety Media Communications Sgt. Dan Buesing. 

Law enforcement is not releasing the identity, pending postivie notification of her next of kin. The Texas Rangers are investigating the case, which marks the second body found within Young County this holiday weekend. The first was found Saturday, July 2, at the Loving Highway Church of Christ in the 1000 block of Loving Highway. The body was discovered in one of the clothing collection boxes for the church by two subjects. 

The Graham Leader spoke with Graham Police Chief Tony Widner Monday morning, July 4, and there are no updates at this time. The Graham police department still has not officially released the name of the deceased person found in Graham. Widner said that, as of now, he is not aware of a connection between the two cases.
