Edna Louise “Lou” Hatler, 82, of Graham passed away Monday, July 1, 2013, in Fort Worth. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Archer City Cemetery in Archer City. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hatler was born Nov. 2, 1930, in Lone Grove, Okla., to the late Charlie Lee and Faithe Edna (Stoker) Clifton. She married John Nolan Hatler on March 1, 1963, in Houston. Mrs. Hatler was a retired school teacher and taught at Crestview Elementary and Graham Junior High. She was a member of the Cowboy Church of Young County and a charter member of the Red Hat Ladies.
Lou was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Deer, and a brother, Lewayne Clifton.
Survivors include her husband, John Hatler of Graham; daughter, Sherry Cope of Houston; grandchildren, Stacy Benton of Houston, John Scott of Houston, Troy Scott of Livingston and Doug Fuqua of Houston; and nine great-grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
