Eva Lou Hagelstein, 71, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Waco under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Eva Lou was born March 27, 1942, in Dallas to the late Thomas Alton and Mary Lou (Gauntt) Green. Eva Lou taught school for 30 years. This included teaching third grade in Graham for 27 years. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church. Eva Lou was an avid traveler, she and Herman visited all seven continents. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 1, 2013.
Survivors include her husband, Herman Hagelstein of Graham; daughter, Laura Nighorn and husband David of Apex, N.C.; son, Paul Hagelstein and wife Kim of Waco; brother, Larry Green and wife Margie of Denver, Colo.; and grandchildren, Rachel and Christopher Nighorn, both of Apex.
Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
