Randy Lee Hurst

Randy passed away unexpectedly on July 27 at his home in Wichita Falls. His memorial was in Wichita Saturday, Aug. 13. He was a resident of Graham before moving to Wichita Falls to be closer to his mother.

He is survived by his mom, Wanell Hurst; his brothers, Marty Hurst of Graham, Terry Hurst of Wichita Falls, Joe Hurst of Graham; and sister Jenny King of Graham; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Cowboy Hurst.

Coby Lynn Jones

Coby Lynn Jones, age 51, passed away at his home in Bryson on Monday, Aug. 8. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 13, at 4 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Curtis Ribble officiating. Burial will follow at Newcastle Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Patrick Sadler

Patrick Sadler passed away Thursday, July 21. He was born Jan. 9, 1948.

Patrick is survived by his wife Barbara Sadler; two children, Craig Sadler and Holli Sadler; and seven grandchildren, Seth Sadler, Wren Hart, Austin Sadler, Vi Hart, Kaylee Sadler, Otis Hart and Orson Hart.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at The Lighthouse in Baird.

Clyde Edward Hailey

Clyde Edward Hailey, born in Graham Texas on Feb. 17, 1938, died Aug. 5, 2022. He was married to the former Patsy Mixon of Graham.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Henry Hailey and Minnie Loyce Davis Hailey, by brothers Bill Hailey, Thomas Hailey, and sister Mary Hailey Brian, two nieces, and a nephew.

He attended Breckenridge High School and Tarleton State University. He served ten years in the United State Navy (Naval Air) and was a retired business owner.

James L (JL) Horn

James L (JL) Horn, 90, passed to his heavenly abode Friday, Aug. 5. He was surrounded by family members, his caretaker, and Hospice nurse, at his Churchill Apartment home in Commerce, Texas. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Cross Trails Cowboy Church in Fairlie, Texas. Interment will follow at Sonora Cemetery in Fairlie.

James was born May 24, 1932 to Jake and Thelma Horn in Delta County, Texas. He attended Cooper and Commerce High Schools before joining the U.S. Army in 1951, where he learned his extraordinary cooking skills.

Billie Jean Hanna

Billie Jean Hanna, 79, passed away at her home Monday, Aug. 1. Funeral was Friday 10 a.m. Aug. 5 at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Pioneer Cemetery.

Billie was born May 26, 1943 in Rotan, to the late Bessie Lee (Winters) Eaton and Douglas Eaton. She married Charles Hanna April 3, 1994 in Las Vegas. Billie was a retired employee of Texas Almet.

Wanda Faye Nolette

Wanda Faye Nolette, 87, passed away Friday, July 29, at her home in Graham.

Wanda was born June 7, 1935, in Creek County, Okla. to the late Charles Haskell and Leona (Hanks) Mead. She married David Lee Nolette Oct. 12, 1984 in Salinas, Calif. and he preceded her in death May 11.  Wanda retired from Pacific Bell in Salinas, California after 32 years.
