Christella Sue Jones

Christella Sue Jones, 88, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021, in Wichita Falls. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 11 a.m. and funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. in the Cowboy Church Gatherin’. Burial will follow in Farmer Cemetery in Farmer under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Christella was born Jan. 16, 1933, in Farmer, TX, to the late Malcolm and Suda (Washburn) Farmer. She married Robert T. “Bob” Jones April 7, 1951, in Weatherford. She and Bob founded Arc Electric Co. in Hurst Texas in 1957.

Jackie Lynn Parker

Jackie Lynn Parker, 77, from Graham, Texas, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 as a long-time resident of Granbury, Texas.

Born on Dec. 4, 1943, in Long Beach, California, Jackie was raised by Alfonso and Louise Kerlick. After High School, Jackie enlisted in the United States Navy. He was a career Navy man, and he then worked for the government for another 20+ years. He loved our nation. He was a man of integrity. He served our nation with honor.

Colt Atkins

Colt Atkins, 33, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021, in Lamesa. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Newcastle. Burial followed in Newcastle Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Horace Ray Freeman

Horace Ray Freeman, 76, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021, in Dallas. Graveside funeral was at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Medlan Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Horace was born Dec. 4, 1944, in San Angelo to the late Myrtle Dell (Hegwood) Freeman and Robert Melvin Freeman. He was a longtime resident of Graham and a member of Faith Center Church. Horace, after retirement owned his own lawn care business in Graham.

Gerald “Jerry” Forest Lyons

Gerald “Jerry” Forest Lyons, 53, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at his home in Walnut Springs. Graveside services will be held Sunday, May 30, 2021, at 2 p.m. in the Lyons Family Cemetery in Eliasville under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Jerry was born May 11, 1968, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Jana Truena (Westfall) and David Forest Lyons, Sr.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a Fiberglass Tech in the marine industry.

Norma Lee “Mary” (Porter) Smith

Our “Mamaw” peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior and dear ones departed, on Friday, May 21, 2021. Norma Lee “Mary” (Porter) Smith was born Sept. 2, 1925, in Paducah, Texas to the late Van C. Porter and Bunia Vesta Porter. She grew up poor in money but rich in love and spirt. She married Walter “Neal” Smith in 1943. Mary was a beautician for many years and later in life she was famous for baking “Mamaw’s Pies.” An avid Texas Rangers fan who loved to play any family game and always wanted to look her best, even while holding a fishing rod.

David Weldon Tucker

David was born Oct. 10, 1942, in Graham, Texas. He was the eldest son of Cleatus and Alice Tucker.

A graduate of Graham High School, David attended Cisco Junior College. He moved to California in 1963 to work at Yosemite National Park. He began his 27 year career in food sales in 1973 at G&M Foods and later worked at Superior Coffee, Sysco Foods, and Port Stockton Food Company.

Glenn Douglas Lentz

Glenn Douglas Lentz, 72, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at his home on Lake Graham. A celebration of life will be held at Glenn’s House Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 3:30 p.m. Call Morrison Funeral Home for directions.

Glenn was born Sept. 5, 1948 in Athens, Alabama to the late Ellis Goode and Jeanette (King) Lentz. He married Becky Ford Nov. 17, 1988 in Pampa. Glenn was a veteran of the United States Marines and was a Pilot, Oil Pipe Salesman, a Farmer and Rancher.

Carolyn Sue Quillin

Carolyn Sue Quillin, aged 76, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on May 20, 2021. A Family visitation will be held Saturday, May 22, from 4-6 p.m. at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life will be held from 2-5 p.m. Monday, May 24, at the Red Brick Rose, (formerly the Old Coca-Cola Factory) located at 1040 4th St. in Graham.
