AUSTIN, Texas (AP) The Texas Senate has passed and sent to Gov. Rick Perry a bill requiring lobbyists who also work as campaign consultants to disclose that information.

That information is not currently required on lobbyist registration forms, which critics say can hide potential conflicts of interest.

The bill requires lobbyists to list the name of any lawmaker who compensates or reimburses them from campaign funds for political consulting.

The bill now goes to Perry, who can sign the bill, veto it or let it become law without his signature.
