ABILENE, Texas—LaDarrien Williams scored 22 points and his team scored 33 points on 3-pointers Tuesday night as Abilene Christian beat NAIA Bacone College 90-63.

The teams attempted 49 3-pointers, with Abilene Christian (4-8) hitting 11 and Bacone (4-8) nine.

Creed Flowers hit two 3-pointers and Bacone (4-8) ripped off a 14-3 run to take a 16-12 lead at 12:02 in the first half. But Parker Wentz hit a 3-pointer to put Abilene Christian (4-8) up 20-18, and the Wildcats scored 12 unanswered points in the remaining four minutes to lead 35-22 at halftime.

Abilene opened with a 15-2 run in the second half on 3-pointers by Williams, Wentz and Cooke, then rolled, leading by as many as 28 points.

Julian Edmonson scored 16 for Abilene Christian, and Wentz finished with 14, including a game-high four 3-pointers on 4-of-12 shooting.

Geo Brewer led Bacone with 17 points.
