Medina County (meh-DEE'-nuh) jail records show Adam Garibay was being held Wednesday on murder, assault and evading arrest charges. No attorney was listed for Garibay, whose bond is $3.1 million.
The San Antonio Express-News ( http://bit.ly/1gR4U9d) reports Garibay quit the Border Patrol after his arrest over the Jan. 2 slaying.
Sheriff Randy Brown has said Garibay threatened his wife, who was found beaten in Corpus Christi, to force her to identify the other man. Investigators say Garibay drove 160 miles to Hondo, shot Keith Martin and was captured following a chase.
District Attorney Dan Kindred says Garibay was indicted Monday. The prosecutor declined further comment.
