In an effort to help those affected by COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), the Graham Community Food Pantry and Crisis Center will be collecting canned goods, dry goods, baby products and paper items through the month of March.

The items will benefit the Graham Community Food Pantry and is an effort to meet the needs of the community during this time, according to a press release from Cathy Partridge, Graham Crisis Center Director of Operations. Collection boxes locations include HighRidge Church, the Food Pantry, United Supermarkets, Graham First United Methodist Church and more locations on the way, according to the release.

“The food drive is a local effort to take care of our residents, those who may be most affected by the COVID-19 shutdowns,” Joanie Sellers-Edwards, Graham Crisis Center Board President, wrote in a press release. “More so now than ever, we want to encourage people to come together, share their resources, and get through this uncertain time together.”

Donations will be accepted during regular business hours for each location. A list of new locations will be added to the Graham Crisis Center Facebook page as well as eligible discounts on purchases made at locations where donations are made.
