Schools all across the country are heading into uncharted waters as campuses remain closed due to COVID-19, but Graham ISD has a plan for remote learning starting with the distribution of materials.

GISD campuses will be distributing materials for remote learning on each campus, Friday, March 27 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. In a ParentSquare email, GISD reminded parents to stay in their vehicles when picking up materials.

For elementary parents, the district would like to expedite the process by having parents make a sign with their student’s name and teacher’s name that will be held up so staff can bring materials to the cars.

If your student attends Pioneer Elementary School, Pre-K and ECSE, the pick up location is the drive that goes to the back of the campus. For Kindergarten student parents should use the drive at the front of the building; Teachers Ramirez, Lewis, and Mazy pick up at the Pre-K door, Paulin and Brown pick up at the front entryway, Bynum, Rice, Riggins, and Davis pick up at the Kindergarten door.

For Crestview Elementary School students, first grade material pick up will be at the Ohio St. entrance which passes by the gym in the back of campus. Second grade parents can pick up materials using the circle drive off Old Jacksboro Road. Third grade materials can be picked up off the drive in front of the building at the bus lane.

At Woodland Elementary School, fourth grade materials can be picked up through the teacher parking lot, while fifth grade can pick up materials through the semi-circle Cliff Drive drop off lane.

At Graham Junior High School there will be a different pick up spot for each grade. Sixth grade materials can be picked up on Second St. at the old gym entrance, seventh grade materials will be picked up on Tennessee St. in the new gym parking lot and eighth grade pick up will be on Virginia St. in the weight room parking lot.

Parent of a high school students will receive a ParentSquare message as to who needs to pick up materials. Also, the students will receive an email from their teacher. If materials are needed to be picked up at GHS, use the bus lane off Calaveras Drive which passes from the gym and auditorium.
