The Lady Blues entered their Friday night contest with a lot on the line despite being just halfway into the district schedule.
VERNON— The chase to the Region 1 District 6 title got a lot tighter after the Graham High School Lady Blues fell to Vernon 5-2.
Graham’s varsity and junior varsity boys track and field teams enjoyed the comfort of home while hosting the 70th annual Possum Kingdom Relays Saturday, taking the top spots in both divisions.
While just over six months isn’t a large chunk of time in the big picture, it is enough time to learn, grow and make impressions.
