County-wide Spring clean-up Saturday
County-wide cleanup will be Saturday, May 7.
At Graford items can be taken to the Precinct 2 Barn in Graford from 7:30 a.m. until 2:30 or 3 p.m. For more information, call (940) 659-1257 or (940) 664-2050, Commissioner Louis Ragle.
Other precincts in Palo Pinto County will hold the annual spring clean-up 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Each location will accept tires. There is a $1 charge for tires up to 17 inches, $3 for truck tires. Electronics — computers, office machines and small appliances — will be accepted and it is requested that plastics be separated for recycling. All actual trash must be bagged.
Shingles, boats, cars, paint and batteries will not be accepted.
Tires with rims, motors and batteries can be taken to J&S Salvage, 3202 MH 379, where there will also be free shredding.
