Quanah and Cynthia Ann Parker Exhibit
The Palo Pinto County Old Jail Museum will host the Quanah and Cynthia Ann Parker Exhibit beginning May 5.

Mother & Son Dance
The United Way of Palo Pinto County, Inc, will host the second annual Mother & Son Dance from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, at Clark Gardens The event is for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The theme is “Dancin’ through the Decades,” with 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and current music played by a DJ. There will also be a Hula Hoop contest and an award for Best Dressed for the Decade, with prizes for the winners. Trail Ride/Barbecue Cancer Fundraiser
The second annual Cowboyin’ for Kids Trail Ride/Barbecue will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 7, at the Holt River Ranch, located just east of Graford at 1834 Grassy Ridge Road. The event benefits the Caleb Larson Cowboyin’ for Kids Foundation which funds research for neuroblastoma and aids families in crisis. Registration deadline is Saturday, April 30. The Inland Divers Association sport diving group works to raise awareness for conservation and water safety at PK Lake.
