Graford ISD will serve lunch from 11:15 until 11:45 a.m. Monday through Friday from Wednesday, June 1, through Thursday, June 30. Junior Firefighters Meet

Graford Fire and EMS will hold its first meeting from 6:30 to 7:30 on Thursday, June 9, to register persons age 8-18 interested in becoming a Junior Firefighter. Junior Sports Golf Camp-1

The golf staff at The Cliffs Resort at Possum Kingdom Lake will be hosting a three-day junior sports camp from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, June 16-18, for kids between the ages of 6 and 13. Instruction will feature full-swing golf, chipping and pitching and putting. There will be a Putt-Putt competition. Campers will receive prizes, lunch, drinks and snacks each day. The 20th annual St. Peters by the Lake Episcopal Church Possum Walk will be held Saturday, June 18, beginning at 8 a.m. sharp at the church, located at the intersection of Red Bird and Park Road 36 on Possum Kingdom Lake’s East Side. The PK East Volunteer Fire Department and EMS Auxiliary will hold its monthly fundraising flea market from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at 142 La Villa Road at PK Lake. All proceeds from sales benefit the PK East Volunteer Fire Department and EMS. PKCC Hell’s Gate Fireworks Show

View the annual Hell’s Gate Fireworks Show from the grounds of YMCA Camp Grady Spruce, with gates opening at 6:30 p.m. and closing at 8:45, no exceptions. Entry fee is $5 per person. Children age 3 and under are free. There will be activities for children and a food vendor on site. Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets and also a picnic. The PK Chamber of Commerce sponsors the event which is funded solely by donations. They seek to raise $30,000 (cost of the fireworks show) to keep this 29 year Hell’s Gate Fireworks Show tradition going. Buckets & Boots Fundraiser

Tickets are on sale now for the sixth annual  Buckets and Boots Music Festival which will take place on Saturday,  July 9, at Graford’s Rocker B Ranch. The 2016 lineup will include Wade Bowen,  Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Jack Ingram and Jerry Jeff Walker. All proceeds will benefit Palo Pinto County’s volunteer firefighters. Adult tickets cost $25 and kids 12 and under are free. The gates will open at 4:30 p.m. and show time will begin at 6 p.m. The Rocker B Ranch is located at 1125 Chaney Lane in Graford. Quanah and Cynthia Ann Parker Exhibit

The Palo Pinto County Old Jail Museum will host the Quanah and Cynthia Ann Parker Exhibit through June 25. More than 40 rare photos depicting the lives of Cynthia Ann and Quanah Parker are being furnished by the Lakes Trail Program traveling exhibit for viewing from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Special Education SSA

Children up to 21 years of age with a disability living in Palo Pinto County may be eligible for services through Palo Pinto County Special Education SSA. The organization serves children with disabilities attending home school and private non-profit schools in Gordon, Graford, Mineral Wells, Palo Pinto, Santo and Strawn. Inland Divers

The Inland Divers Association sport diving group works to raise awareness for conservation and water safety at PK Lake. It is offering a chance to win a Yeti cooler, a Jetovator ride, and a $100 gift card to Smart Hardware. The drawing will be held Saturday, June 4, at the Red Bull Cliff Diving competition.
