Students from Graham ISD, Breckenridge ISD, Olney ISD, Jacksboro ISD, Graford ISD, Perrin-Whitt ISD, Woodson ISD, Albany ISD and Bryson ISD gathered inside the competition gym at Graham High School as GHS played host for the annual 17th annual national Fellowship of Christian Athletes’ Fields of Faith event.

Now in its 13th year at GHS, this student-led ministry event allowed students to minister to their peers. Typically, Graham High School hosts the FCA Big Country East event on Newton Field. Inclement weather pushed a last-minute change to move the event indoors. Kodie Gough (Graham High School), Aimee Toliver (Breckenridge High School), Brodie Bates (Graham High School) and Adelade Edgington (Olney High School) each spoke on their experiences in Christianity through biblical scripture and issued challenges based on bible verse to their peers.

The Zach Wood Band provided contemporary gospel music throughout the event. Shawn Brewer, pastor at First Baptist Church in Paradise gave the final talk of the night and offered students the opportunity to seek further guidance.
