Jerry Don Logan started his path to pro football in Graham. Through guidance from his parents, he learned the importance of hard work and dedication. That ethos guided Logan to a successful college career and a 10-year career in the NFL with the Baltimore Colts. Monday night he was inducted into the Big Country Athletic Hall of Fame.

Logan became the sixth Super Bowl champion to join the hall, located in Abilene. He joined Don Maynard, Bob Lilly, Terry Orr, Justin Snow and Dominic Rhodes.

“Anytime you’re inducted into a hall of fame it’s a tremendous honor,” Logan said. “When you get to be a senior citizen, you don’t really expect many honors like this. It’s a tremendous honor and I am very appreciative about this.”
