Annual scholarship awards ceremony presents nearly $100K

Eighty-five local scholarships from around 73 local benefactors, clubs and agencies were given out to the graduating class of 2018 during the 32nd Graham High School Scholarship Awards Ceremony held Monday at Memorial Auditorium.

Around $100,000 in scholarships were provided to seniors at the event, with many walking away with more than one. Graham High School Principal Joe Gordy thanked all of those for the contributions they made to the students of Graham.

“We are grateful to live in a community that chooses to honor their graduating seniors in such a generous way,” he said.
