Following a seven-year absence from Graham and North Central Texas College, Dr. Magen Bunyard has returned to the city helming the role of director at the community college. The new director stepped into the position at the beginning of August, following the departure of Kim Birdwell.

Seeing the positive work happening at NCTC when she worked at the campus prior, having the opportunity to collaborate and work with the community to identify needs and supporting and meeting those needs are what drew her back to NCTC.

“I worked at NCTC here in Graham from 2012-14 as the counselor and had a really good experience,” she said. “I have always just been impressed with NCTC’s commitment to students and just their willingness to go above and beyond to help students accomplish their goals. And then the Graham community likewise has just been such a dedicated partner in all levels of education and so I was excited when this opportunity became available to return.”
