Car dealership catches fire Tuesday evening

A fire at Worthington Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Tuesday evening has left the dealership closed while the fire remains under investigation.

The dealership has been closed since the fire occurred and Brookes Worthington said it is likely nobody will be able to work at the business for a week or two as repairs take place.

“There are no human injuries or casualties, everybody is ok,” he said. “We are asking people to contact the dealership before they come next week because the fire is still under investigation and they’re still trying to determine the cause and it is still an (active) scene.”
