The tenth annual Cars and Stars event takes place this weekend on the downtown square. The event takes place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The goal of the Cars and Stars car show and events is to build fellowship among car enthusiasts and local communities. It is also to encourage restoration and preservation of all types of vehicles and to build relationships beyond the cars, to be a positive factor in the local community and to be charitable and have goodwill among peers.

Prior to the show, the burnout competition will take place Friday at 6:30 p.m. It will be at the corner of Fourth and West Street.

Joining the car show this year will be Ragin’ Cajun Cornhole and the Graham Farmers Market. The Farmers Market is making a one-time change from its regular location to join the show from 9 a.m. until noon.

Registration for the cornhole tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the competition starting at 10 a.m. The tournament will host three divisions: open ($60 fee), competitive ($60 fee) and social ($50 fee) and will reward a 90% payout in each class. To pre-register, contact Curtis Strider at 940-521-6730 or Ronnie Strider at 940-282-8755.
