The Graham Chamber of Commerce Christmas Stroll and Lighted Parade will be Thursday  with events starting at 5 p.m. on the downtown square. The parade will follow the theme of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” for the annual event this year.

Graham Chamber of Commerce CEO Krisa De La Cruz said the event is not only important for those who get to experience it each year, but for the businesses on the square who benefit from the turnout.

“The Christmas Stroll and Lighted Parade is a special evening for people to celebrate the season and spend time with family,” De La Cruz said in an email with The Graham Leader. “The Christmas Stroll is also important because it is an opportunity for our local retail and restaurant community to showcase their services and products. Our restaurant and retail businesses have had a challenging year, and we hope the support from the community on the night of the Stroll will be encouraging for those businesses.”
