Graham Regional Theatre is hosting four performances this week of its annual Christmas show ‘A Christmas Carol.’ The show will close out the 2022 season for GRT which began in September.

The show will be held at The Perry theater in Graham 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11. Students, senior and military discount tickets are $12 and general admission tickets are $15. Tickets can be purchased at grahamregionaltheatre.com/tickets-1.

The show has over 30 cast members, according to director Katie Huitt, with both new and old members to the organization participating in auditions.

“We have so many new people involved in this production that are just new to our group, or new to theater in general. So it’s really exciting to get everybody together. We’ve got veterans, we’ve got newbies and it’s just a really great environment,” she said. “The auditions, I was really surprised with the turnout and very, very encouraged. It was a fun audition. We had everybody come in prepared with their favorite Christmas carols and then we just did some cold reads and we just kind of got to know each other and we found a place for everybody that showed up.”
