Keep Graham Beautiful’s annual Spring cleanup event for the city of Graham kicks off Saturday, April 6, and continues through April 14.

The kickoff event is scheduled for April 6 at 9 a.m. to noon on the Downtown Square with members of KGB assisting. KGB is a non-profit service organization in Graham, which has contributed to projects such as obtaining a grant for the rock wall lining the drainage area in front of North Central Texas College, the railway lining the Shawnee Springs Park creek, the Spring and Fall cleanup programs and more.

During the KGB’s Spring cleanup and Fall brush-up programs, the city of Graham’s convenience station allows free residential dumping of general refuse beyond the normal 6-cubic-yard limit. This does not include household garbage, business refuse or food items.

For the rest of the story see the Saturday, March 16 edition of The Graham Leader.
