The Young County Commissioner’s Court rescheduled a reinvestment zone public hearing set for Monday, April 8 to April 22 at 9:30 a.m.

“We are going to cancel our public hearing that we scheduled for this time and this day due to a technical error,” Young County Judge John Bullock said during the meeting. “We’re just going to be sure that all of our I’s are dotted and our T’s are crossed. We thought it in our best interest to repost that for April the 22nd at 9:30 a.m.”

Over 1,400 acres will be discussed as a possible Young County Solar Reinvestment Zone during the public hearing. A map provided by Young Central Appraiser Luke Robbins shows the land in question is north of Graham and south of Loving off FM 2652, Red Top Road, and stretches southeast to Hwy. 16.
