District 30 runoff election early voting begins next week

Early voting in the Texas Senate District 30 Special Runoff Election is one week away in Young County, beginning Wednesday, Dec. 9. The runoff election ballot will have one race between candidates Drew Springer and Shelley Luther.

The runoff election between the two candidates will be held Saturday, Dec. 19 with Young County voting locations at North Central Texas College at 928 Cherry St. in Graham, Olney Community Library at 807 W. Hamilton, Newcastle City Hall at 608 Broadway, Loving Volunteer Fire Department at 8891 Hwy. 114 and Graham First Methodist Church at 700 Third St.

Early voting will run 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 9-15 at North Central Texas College and Olney Community Library. Applications for ballot by mail must be received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, to Lauren Sullivan, Elections Administrator, 516 Fourth St., Room B1.
