District court accepts plea bargains in several June cases

Cases pleaded in the 90th Judicial District Court in June are:

• Dominic Cortez, 32, of Graham, pleaded true to the allegations in the state’s motion to revoke community supervision for the offense of burglary of habitation and was sentenced to four years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – Institutional Division (TDCJ-ID), and to pay a remaining fine and court costs.

• Robert Hayes Jackson Jr., 45, of Mineral Wells, pleaded true to the allegations in the state’s motion to adjudicate community supervision for the offense of possession of controlled substance 1 gram or more but less than 4 grams – methamphetamine and was sentenced to four years confinement in TDCJ-ID, and to pay remaining fine, restitution, and court costs. He also pleaded true to the allegations in the state’s motion to adjudicate community supervision for the offense of possession of controlled substance less than 1 gram – methamphetamine and was sentenced to 12 months confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – State Jail Division (TDCJ-SJ), and to pay remaining court costs.

• William Allen Myers, Jr., 40, of Graham, pleaded true to the allegations in the state’s motion to adjudicate community supervision for the offense of engage in organized criminal activity and was sentenced to five years confinement in TDCJ-ID, and to pay remaining court costs.

He also pleaded true to the allegations in the state’s motion to adjudicate community supervision for the offense of prohibited substance in correctional facility and was sentenced to two years confinement in TDCJ-ID, and to pay a remaining fine, restitution and court costs.

• Zachery Thomas Browning, 25, of Graham, pleaded true to the allegations in the state’s motion to adjudicate community supervision for the offense of evading arrest or detention with vehicle and was sentenced to two years confinement in TDCJ-ID, and to pay a remaining fine and court costs.

• Billie Russell McComack, 27, of Loving, pleaded guilty to the offense of aggravated assault with deadly weapon, and was sentenced to two years confinement in TDCJ-ID, and to pay a $5,000 fine and court costs.

• Bradley Scott Rhodes, 43, of Waxahachie, pleaded true to the allegations in the state’s motion to revoke community supervision for the offense of burglary of habitation and was sentenced to two years confinement in TDCJ-ID, and to pay a remaining fine, restitution and court costs.

• Jack Anthony Hayhurst, Jr., 37, of Loving, pleaded true to the allegations in the state’s motion to adjudicate community supervision for the offense of possession of controlled substance less than 1 gram – methamphetamine and was sentenced to 15 months confinement in TDCJ-SJ, and to pay a remaining fine and court costs.

• Theresa Caroline Martinez, 32, of Graham, pleaded true to the allegations in the state’s motion to revoke community supervision for the offense of abandon/endanger child – criminal negligence and was sentenced to 12 months confinement in TDCJ-SJ, and to pay a remaining fine and court costs.

• Ginny Lynn Herring, 35, of Graham, pleaded guilty to the offense of injury to a child – reckless bodily injury and was sentenced to five years community supervision, and to pay a $500 fine and court costs. She also pleaded guilty to the offense of injury to an elderly individual – reckless bodily injury and was sentenced to five years community supervision, and to pay a $500 fine and court costs.
