District Court announces May pleas

Cases pleaded in the 90th Judicial District Court in May are:

• Adams Rene Tovar, 23, of Graham, pleaded true to the allegations in the state’s motion to adjudicate community supervision for the offense of possession of controlled substance less than 1 gram - methamphetamine, and was sentenced to 12 months confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – State Jail Division (TDCJ-SJ), and to pay the remaining fine, restitution and court costs.

• Lawrence Zackery Whitlock, 22, of Graham, pleaded guilty to the offense of engaging in organized criminal activity, and was sentenced to six years community supervision, and to pay a $1,500 fine, restitution and court costs.

• Jesus Gonzales Ramos, 56, of Graham, pleaded guilty to the offense of driving while intoxicated, third offense or more, and was sentenced to 10 years community supervision, and to pay a $750 fine and court costs.

• Casey C. Contreras, 37, of Graham, pleaded guilty to the offense of driving while intoxicated, third offense or more, and was sentenced to five years community supervision, and to pay a $1,500 fine, restitution and court costs.

• Jesse Hilario Fierro, 47, of Graham, pleaded guilty to the offense of aggravated assault with deadly weapon and was sentenced to five years community supervision, and to pay a $1,500 fine and court costs.

• John Patrick Issiah Martin, 22, of Graham, pleaded guilty to the offense of possession of marijuana, 5 pounds or less but more than 4 ounces, and was sentenced to five years community supervision, and to pay a $500 fine, restitution and court costs.

• Lacey Wilteron Baynes, 30, of Graham, pleaded guilty to the offense of driving while intoxicated/ open alcohol container – lesser included offense and was sentenced to one year community supervision with 30 days county jail time, and to pay a $1,500 fine and court costs.
