Early voting begins Monday in local general elections

Early voting for the May 1 local general elections will begin Monday in Young County and throughout the state. Locally, four entities will have elections held on one ballot which is adjusted based on your location in the county. Elections will be held for the city of Graham, city of Olney, Olney ISD and city of Newcastle.

Early voting in Young County will run Monday, April 19, through Tuesday, April 27. Early voting will be held at North Central Texas College, 928 Cherry St. in Graham, Olney Community Library, 807 W. Hamilton in Olney and Newcastle City Hall, 608 Broadway in Newcastle. Any registered Young County voter can vote at any one of the three locations during early voting.

Election day voting will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at NCTC, Olney Community Library and Newcastle City Hall. Any registered Young County voter can vote at any location during election day.
